- Several Short Sentences About Writing, Verlyn Klinkenborg —
- Hell Yeah or No, Derek Sivers — «hell yeah or no» они используют в компании как рабочий термин
- Home-made: Contemporary Russian Folk Artifacts —
> «Don't think about writing. Think about taking an idea from your head, clarifying it, putting it onto the page, and get the idea from your head into the other person's brain.» — [0:01…
> «When I struggle with writing, it's a signal to stop writing. Not to keep pushing through the writing, but to stop writing, do something else, and come back. And oftentimes don't come back to what I wrote, but come back to a blank page and start over.» — [0:03:05](https://youtu.be/UDOeqjQbUcU…
37signals Guide to Internal Communication
> «Once I go into that contrived place where I'm efforting something too much, it's going to be bad. I really don't want it to feel like effort.» — [0:07:40](https://youtu.be/UDOeqjQbUcU?t=460)
Как выглядит хорошее: «I don't know where that came from. But it's really good» — предложение, за которое стыдно не…
Ещё есть визуальный критерий: смотрит на предложение — правильно ли выглядят буквы, не слишком ли зубчато, как ветка с лишайником на прогулке: «that just looks good, there was no effort in that».
Не пытается писать длинное, потому что не любит и потому что «it wouldn't feel like us».
> «It's okay to know your limits and work within them and not feel like to become a writer you must write like someone else.» — [0:18:21](https://youtu.be/UDOeqjQbUcU?t=1101)
