- он сам иммигрант и сторонник иммиграции — отбираемой по заслугам, когда страны конкурируют за самых способных;
- ссылается на датскую статистику: иммигранты из Великобритании, Франции и США дают датской казне около +$25 000 в год в среднем, из Сомали — около −$28 000;
- считает правом народов замечать демографические изменения и не соглашаться с ними, и указывает на асимметрию: японцам никто…

Сам он риск признаёт: такие разговоры могут скатиться в откровенный расизм. Но считает, что этот риск не отменяет самого разговора. Сожалений о поднятой драме — ноль.
