By the way, I intend to work with each and
every attendee personally. I will review each of your
projects and tell you how to make them more effective. There
may be a
few cases where I will tell you, in my opinion, your idea or
project doesn't have much of a chance. And if I were you, I
would abandon it.
Don't undervalue what I just wrote. If you
have an idea or project which is doomed to fail, it is
extremely valuable to know... as early as possible... your
project doesn't have much of a chance of success. That way,
you can stop wasting your time, money and energy on that
particular project and go on to something else that will
work.
I'm about to close this letter now. But
before I do, I want to get something off my chest: What I
want to do is offer a sincere "thank you" to all my readers
and let you know how much I appreciate you are one
of the astonishing number of people who seem to really
appreciate my work.
You know, I have a little-known way (I'm
going to reveal it at both my Orlando and LA seminars) of telling just
how popular a website really is. You've heard of Wal-Mart, haven't you? They're
the biggest retail chain in America. They have a website
www.walmart.com which
gets an enormous amount of traffic. And you've heard of CNN,
haven't you? They have a news website
www.cnn.com which also
gets an enormous amount of traffic. I recently checked these
sites and both were listed in the top 100 websites in the
entire world.
Well, here's something I can hardly believe:
Do you know my little, pitiful, one-man website has 10% as
much traffic as both of these giant websites? I
can't believe how many people read my newsletters on my
website. I've done almost nothing to promote it. I've never
done anything like "website optimization". I've never bought
"Google ad words". I've never joint ventured with anyone
else to promote my website. I've never sent spam
email either. And I've never bothered to do anything to get
a lot of other website owners to link to my website.
