ever because back from the early days of of Porsche when they made the 356 and the 911 they were these were derivatives of Volkswagens basically the 928 was a was a from scratch blank slate new thing and it's very unusual in a lot of different ways but one of the really cool things about it is that they incorporated the the numbers 928 into all these different elements inside the car. And when you see them, like you almost don't notice them, but when you start to see them in all these places, you see this pride in the product, this cohesive idea that it wasn't just a bunch of parts bin stuff. Like the brake pedal actually is is shaped sort of like a little bit like a trapezoid and it's actually made of the numbers 928.

Um, and those numbers form the shape which form the the brake pedal which you'll never see because your eyes are not down there. But when you look at it, you go, "Ah, they cared enough about this thing. Someone was excited enough about this thing to make a special brake pedal. They could have chosen a brake pedal from another car they already had, but they made us bespoke one for this car." And it's those kinds of things that when I see that, I go, "Someone thought about this. the product manager there cared so much about this car that they did things like that. And so even though that's not a new product, it's an old product, it's fun to run into things like that cuz things like that aren't done anymore. And so it's neat to also run into old ideas, old things like that that uh that you can see there was care and attention and a cohesive whole. I

would say this too. I know I'm going a little bit long in this answer, but I just like things where the whole idea is visible. There's there's a there's a complete idea here. That kind of thing is also, I think, a signal of good taste. Actually, another a good example of good taste is um Oh my god, I'm blanking on the guy's name. Give me just a second here. Um David Lynch. So, David Lynch, uh director who just died. Um here, I'm going to put this in the in the um in the chat for people who can who can see it uh who are around. We can pop this in the um in the LinkedIn comments too somewhere. Um, this is uh an auction for David Lynch's estate. Basically everything he ever owned. This is a beautiful example of
